Tinki and I are buzzing about the events on this weekend, there’s a honey show an apple day, art, firewoks and the chance to see Rapunzel at Stantonbury theatre.

Working Steam Weekend
Stotfold Mil, Stotfold, Bedfordshire SG5 4NU.
A Family fun day at this working mill with archery, vintage swing boats and steam train rides for little Tinkis. Beer and Cider Festival for the adults and live bands playing throughout the weekend.
Saturday 8 October
Jordan’s Mill, Broom Nr Biggleswade SG18 9JX
A celebration of all things honey. Candle rolling, honey tasting, honey wine and cake tasting, face painting and the chance for tinkis to dress as a bee keeper.
Stony Stratford Big Draw
York House Centre, London Road Stony Stratford, MK11 1JQ
10am – 4pm
Artists Michelle Buckland and Angela Carel host this free arts workshop themed around Superheroes and villains. Tights and capes optional 🙂
Rapunzel and the Tower of Doom
Stantonbury Theatre, Stantonbury, MK14 6BN
If you fancy taking your tinkis to see a show this weekend Stantonbury Theatre continue their Theatre 4 Kids programme. Teaming up with Theatre of Widdershins they are telling the tale of Rapunzel through puppetry. The show is aimed at the over 4s, last 50 minutes and tickets start at £9.50.
Day opens at 2pm with fireworks at 7pm
Deanshanger Village Green
Lots of stalls and family amusements at this family weekend with music provided by the team at MKFM. There’s also the events annual firework display at 7pm.

Wolverton Road Recreation Ground, Stony Stratford
Free admission but please bring donations to the Food Bank.
This autumn fun day includes free donkey rides, Punch and Judy show, children’s craft activities food stalls and for those who fancy showing off their Bake Off skills there’s an apple cake competition.
