Ok so as I write this post there are lots of germs flying around in Tinkipop household so I must confess to being somewhat distracted! There’s lots of Halloween activities planned across the city, fireworks displays, arts activities and even a new park to check out. Oh and don’t forget there is the chance to win £100 high street shopping voucher by taking a walk through Campbell Park.
Rhiley’s Halloween Party
New Bradwell Community Centre, MK13 0DA
Local childhood cancer charity Rhiley’s Smile are holding a Halloween party complete with face painting, music, and games. Little ones can get their photo taken with special Halloween props and there is even a monster cake raffle. There are no tickets to buy in advance admission is on arrival. Trick or Treating at Intu
29th & 30th October
The shopping centre at Intu are continuing there Halloween themed events by hosting a big trick or treat event. Dress Tinki’s in there best Halloween attire and collect a bucket at the information desk and then head round all the shops in the new bit with a pumpkin in the window and collect sweeties.
Milton Keynes Village Fireworks display
Bonfire from 6.30 Main Fireworks 7pm
If you fancy a smaller Fireworks display than the big one at Campbell Park check out the annual Milton Keynes Village display. Its free to attend, there are refreshments and stalls selling glow sticks. The event takes place behind the Village Hall on Willen Road, MK10 9AF.
Castle Ashby Pumpkin Hunt
29th & 30th October

Castle Ashby near Northampton (NN7 1LQ) are hosting their hugely popular pumpkin hunt, its so popular in fact that they have run out of the Halloween gift bags that the children receive at the end. Don’t worry though as the children taking part still get sweeties and they have reduced the price to just £1.00 per participating child (standard £4.00 parking charge still applies).
Dotty the Dragon
If you’ve had Halloween overload then you can check out the latest performance from the Stantonbury Campus theatre for kids programme. Dotty is a baby dragon who wants to make friends with the locals. There is even a fire breathing dragon on stage. Walk and Win Cash at Campbell Park
Following the success of Pokémon Go, an app as been designed to help families get out this half term. The Mobile Adventures app gets you to explore Campbell Park to find spooky characters which unlock points and quizzes. The newest park in Milton Keynes opened this week to at Whitehouse Park, Longhorn Drive, Whitehouse. To get there head towards Stony Stratford and take the V4 Watling Street. We hope to visit next week detail on tinkipop.com soon.
