We love a good park and this one is certainly a goodie. The wobbly jeep here alone is worth the trip both for the excitement of rocking it so much you have to cling on and the imaginative excitement of spotting a rhino on ‘safari’.
The rhino itself is a climbing frame, one of a number at the park. There’s a nice little roundabout, a seesaw and plenty of space to run around.
The park lies beside the Grand Union Canal so there is a nice area to walk along and you can head towards Willen or on to Campbell Park. You can also spot the ‘can-narrow’ boats as Tinki calls them and feed the ducks and swans.
Getting there is easy its just at the bottom of Colesbourne Drive.
